Amos Beagle is the star of the book
The Beagle Has Landed:
Amos's Pawsteps Across London.
Amos has just moved to London and everyday brings something unexpected, especially when sniffing around with his new friends.

Meet the Beagle! Meet the Pack!
Amos may be the star of the book, but he's not alone! Get to know him plus some of his pals, who make his new life in London a friendsome adventure.

Amos Beagle
Amos Beagle loves to lend a helping hand — errr paw and sometimes nose — to his newfound friends. Amos frequently gets lost in a good book but always gets back on track with one whiff of a curious scent. He thinks that being kind is his super power.

Mark
Mark relishes walking about in his London neighborhood of Pimlico in different hats. He fancies trying exciting new hobbies like yoga, playing the ukulele, and trying on fake mustaches.

Ginger
Ginger speaks 5 languages, including "Bunny" which her pet, Nutmeg, appreciates. She has an amazing memory! She knows all the students' names at the Westminster School, except the one who always wears a sparkly tiara. She just calls that one "Princess."

Reverend Goodfellow
Reverend Goodfellow takes part in sporty hobbies like swimming and cycling. His musical hobbies involve strumming a guitar while singing. He relishes a "cuppa" Earl Grey tea with two Hobnob biscuits, especially on Monday mornings.

Cecil B. de Fleur
Cecil has written 12 books on gardening and baking, including the best-selling Flowers to Flours: A Baker's Journey. Can you guess the number of bow ties in his dresser drawer? 137 (and counting!)

Cheeky
Look out for a wee, gray squirrel in The Beagle Has Landed. That's Cheeky! Cheeky is curious, charming, and well, so "cheeky!"
Dig Deeper with Amos!
In The Beagle Has Landed, Amos learns about – and tastes – intriguing new things. Find out more about his escapades.

About Us
The Author

ROWENA D. SAURA studied at the Tower of London while obtaining her Master's Degree with Historic Royal Palaces and Queen Mary University of London. Unsurprisingly, Rowena is smitten with dogs – especially beagles. She can't pass by one without an enthusiastic "Cheers, my long-eared friend!" And they almost always whisper something fascinating. Rowena once loved a beagle who lived with her in London. Sadly, he is no longer with her. Each time you read her stories about Amos Beagle, she feels you keep his memories alive.
The Illustrator

A.R. DOWNS loves to paint characters, whether human or animal, and has always enjoyed a good story book. She lives with her chocolate lab, Levi, who makes a "cameo" appearance in The Beagle Has Landed. Like Amos, A.R. and Levi both relish food and their tiny adventures.
